Camps

The camps offered under our programme are listed below.

Combined Annual Training Camps (CATC)

Annual Training Camps/ Combined Annual Training Camps (ATC/CATC). These are held within the State under the aegis of respective NCC Directorates.

Basic Leadership Camp

The Basic Leadership Camp was a 10 day camp. It was a camp focussed towards building up of a cadet’s leadership qualities and soft skills.

Pre RD Camp

Pre RD Camp is organized prior to Republic Day Camp in order to select NSS Volunteers who are best in Parade and cultural activities.

Advance Leadership Camp (ALC)

Six Advance Leadership Camps (ALC), are conducted every year, which a total of 1350 cadets attend to focus on personality development, leadership skills and orientation for induction into the Armed Forces.

Mountaineering Camp

Adventure is the life blood of youth. Adventure training in the NCC provides knowledge to cadets of the topography as well as experience of different weather conditions and adventurous living under camp conditions.

Paratrooper Camp

Every year 40 boy & 40 girl cadets attend Para Basic Course at Para Training School, Agra for a duration of 24 days.

National Integration Camp (NIC)

National Integration Camps and Special National Integration Camps are conducted to make cadets understand and value the rich heritage of cultures that forge unity despite the diverse languages, traditions and religions of our country

Attachment Training.

Cadets derive immense value through attachment to the Armed Forces Units where they experience the functioning of military units and life in armed forces units.

Republic Day Camp (RDC)

Before RDC all group headquarters have to face the IGC(Inter-Group Competition) after IGC,the selected cadets are trained by the drill instructors of the Indian Army and they are given rigorous military training and drill training daily until the time comes when the cadets have to depart to Delhi to represent their respective states.

Thal Sainik Camp (TSC)

The TSC is a 12 days camp conducted in Delhi every year in the late autumn, in which the cadets are selected from all 17 directorates (30+3 SD/JD and SW/JW cadets from each directorate),

Nau Sainik Camp (NSC)

This centrally organised Naval Camp is conducted annually for selected Naval Wing Cadets.

Hiking And Trekking Camps

Adventurous treks and hikes up mountains take place, with expeditions to local mountains and hills.

Social Service and Community Development.

Social Service activities are structured to inspire and encourage the cadets to participate voluntarily towards improvement of their physical and social environment and channelize their energies in the task of nation building.

Youth Exchange Programme

The aim of YEP is a country-to-country exchange of cadets belonging to NCC/equivalet Govt/Youth
