Something to clear your mind.

  • The cadet must have attended a minimum of 75% of total training periods laid down in the syllabus for the first and second years for Senior Division/Wing NCC (All Wings) to attend the B certificate exam. He or she must have attended one Annual Training Camp / NIC / COC / RDC / Attachment with Regular Army/ Navy/ Air Force. Cadets possessing Certificate A will be awarded 10 bonus marks.

  • The cadet must be in possession of Certificate B to attend for the C certificate exam. He or she must be in third year of Senior Division/Senior Wing NCC Training. The cadet must have attended a minimum of 75% of the periods of 3rdyear syllabus during the academic session.

    The syllabus includes common subjects for all three wings and specialized subjects with respect to Army, Air Force and Navy. The common subjects comprise of approximately 70% and specialized service is 30% of the curriculum.

  • (a) Annual Training Camps (ATC). These are held within the state under the aegis of respective NCC Directorates. The camps are of 12 days duration for senior boys/girls and 10 days duration for junior boys/girls.
    (b) National Integration Camps (NIC)/ Special National Integration Camps (SNIC). The National Integration Camp (NIC) is organized every year and the duration of each camp is of 7 days with day-night boarding & lodging. These camps are held in different parts of the country.
    (c) Leadership Camps. Six Advance Leadership Camps (ALC) The 10-day 'Advance Leadership Camp' are held in different directorates.
    (d)Annual Republic Day Camp The Annual Republic Day Camp (RDC) is held at Garrison Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt every year from 01 Jan to 29 Jan.

  • Practical like drill, mapping, assembly and disassembly of rifle is done in C exam. For drill practice take one liter water bottle in each hand and swing the hands by standing.

  • a. Annual Training Camp (This is in addition to one mentioned above).
    b. Republic Day Camp at Delhi (RDC).
    c. Centrally Organized Camp (COC). Ordered by HQ DGNCC Para Training Camp (PTC).
    d. Para Training Camp (PTC).
    e. National Integration Camp (NIC) (When applicable for SD/ SW Cadets).
    f. All India Trekking Expedition (HQ DGNCC Organized).
    g.All India Mountaineering Expedition (HQ DGNCC Organized).
    h. Attachment Training with any one of the following:-

    i.Army Unit.
    ii. Air Force Station.
    iii. Naval Base/ Establishment/ Ship/ Sea Training.
    iv. Service Hospital.


    i. Any one of the following Adventure Courses:-

    i.Mountaineering Basic Course.
    ii. Mountaineering Advance Course.
    iii. Water Skiing/Snow Skiing Courses.
    iv. Snow & Ice (Condensed) Course.


    j. Sailing expedition with actual sailing exceeding 10 days, duly approved by HQ DGNCC.
    k. Participated in NRAI matches as part of HQ DGNCC/Directorate team.

  • YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM (YEP) Selected NCC cadets participate in Youth Exchange Programme which is a country to country exchange of cadets belonging to NCC/ equivalent Govt/ youth organizations of friendly countries. ... As of now more than 100 cadets proceed abroad on YEP annually.

  • NCC Republic Day Camp is the culmination of all NCC Training activities. RDC is held at Garrison Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt. ... During the RDC, various competitions are conducted amongst the 17 NCC Directorates to decide the Champion Directorate for award of Prime Minister's Banner.

  • You will be using the basic rifles. These basic rifles serve the purpose of shooting. However, you will be handling rifles like INSAS (Indian New Small Arms System) and The SLR(Self Loaded Rifle). These two rifles are used for Kholna-Jodna (Assembling and Dismantling).
    For shooting, you will be using the 0.22 Deluxe Rifle.

  • A fire camp is a campsite for firefighters and support personnel. It is typically set up for a large project fire which requires a large amount of manpower, organisation and logistics.
